So I'm bisexual and my brother knows but my parents dont and everytime a scene comes on with gay people on tv my mom sighs or just says something. I hung up a rainbow flag in my room and she said "you do know what Rainbows mean right?" And I just stared at her and idk how to tell her

Sometimes parents aren’t really ready to face the possibility that their kids are LGBTQIA+. If you want to come out, these two things might be helpful:
- A safe place to go/stay (this can be a friend’s house to confide in. Doesn’t automatically mean you’ll be kicked out or anything.)
- If things don’t go the way you wish, it may be helpful to find local or online queer support groups (like this server)
