Really depends on what you mean by hate if he will just feel uncomfortable or wrong he can deal with it but if he will put you in harms way or make you uncomfortable then it might not be safe to tell him specifically

It does depend on what kind of hate your dad has if its in the space where it might get you hurt please dont tell him we want you to be safe

What would it change if you came out about being furry? I would suggest coming out little by little.. e.g. tell him about you being furry about half a year after you're sure he accepted other parts of your identity. I would do so for safety purposes. Personally I haven't told my parents about the drag queens I watch on YouTube and if I was doing drag myself I believe dad would get violent so stay safe
