so for some reason ive been thinking more and more about coming out as bi to my parents, and telling them ive been dating this one girl they know about. Basically everyone ik at school knows besides my parents. theres a chance theyll be accepting but then again theyre also religious (both conservative christians). these are the possible responses from my parents:

(please judge if you think its safe to come out or not)

Mom: mainly just confused, maybe a little mad. would most likely say “i see, but God didnt intend for that.” and "I'm fine with that, as long as you dont shove it in my face."

Dad: confused and annoyed. probably wouldnt say much besides “Why tho.” or just looks to my mom to answer.

theres a chance they both would say “Trust me honey, youre not bi. youre young and probably confused.”

If you feel like it’s a burden to hide it, tell them OR give them a ‘hypothetical’ and say it’s for a video for TikTok or whatever social media platform that people are doing, then do that question ‘what would you do if I was bi’ if it’s a negative reaction don’t say anything treat it as a normal question if they have a positive reaction then you should say something along the lines of ‘Well I am Bi’ or smth like that!
