Ok so i’m a closeted AMAB non-binary (my parents aren’t homophobic im just scared of confrontation and telling people stuff about myself), and I’m signing up for this weeklong summer camp that takes place away from home. On the sign up sheet i can select nonbinary for my gender identity (it also factors in to if you get roomed with boys or girls), but I don’t know if my parents are going to look over it. Idk what to do.

I recommend maybe coming out with a note. That’s what I’m planning to do. Just say if they don’t have anything good to say to not bring it up, and if they do support you to start using the right pronouns. Then u can click non binary without worries, but idk if you wanna come out yet
