I came out to my mom as trans today. The response was better than expected, although still on the "I won't accept you, you are a MAN." side of the spectrum. And I feel both fine and bad for that

It was not a talk. That would require both parties to be willing to listen to one another, so I decided to end the conversation there before escalation, and just let her process the information.
