TW || suicide attempts, sh ||

I have a friend (13) who has been struggling with her mental health for months. She doesn’t want to go to any sort of adult to get help. I understand why she's doing that. However, instead, she vents to her friends who don't have the heart to say no. She stays up with them well past midnight and talks about || her past trauma, wanting to do sh, and trying to commit || Recently, she was talking with one of my friends, and they DMed me while in tears. That friend had already been going through their own problems, and it gave them a panic attack. I need to report what she's been saying, but I don't know where to go.

Hey I understand how worried you guys are but its okay to say "hey im sorry you're going through this right now but I have my own stuff right now and I would prefer if you didnt vent to me right now!" Or anything like that and I hope she'd understand because regardless yall are young and it isn't your responsibility. If possible you can talk to counselors at school or adults like that and by big chance they won't tell her who reported her and if you're worried she'll find out ask for them to keep it private

Its all up to you and what you want to do and I wish you, your friends, and her happiness and safety

Thank you, I managed to reach out to the teacher who runs hopesquad (a mental health group we're both in) and he alerted authorities.
