So I’ve been feeling really euphoric lately w my appearance despite not owning a binder. I look androgynous enough and I’m content with that, but every time I hear my deadname or the wrong pronouns that confidence just shatters and I think, “why am I not telling them?” Can yall maybe share your experiences and how you finally mustered up enough courage to do it? Also prolly important to know that I have some communication issues and I stutter a lot and mix up the sentences I already rehearsed in my head so that’s also an issue.

hey, I understand what that feels like, and coming out to family members is really tough. I managed to sit down and have a direct conversation with my parents. I know this sounds cringey, but using 'I feel [this] when you do [that]' phrasing REALLY helps. I'd also recommend writing down what you want to say before, so you can read that off in case you lose your words. be honest with them, they still want to be your parents. SprigLove
