For context, I think I’m Lesbian but I also have been struggling with my identity A LOT and Don’t know if I’m trans or non-binary. But I don’t have a religious family, and I KNOW my mom supports LGBTQ+ but I’m scared she’ll tell me I’m too young. Yesterday I did ask for a binder because I really wanted to tell her but she just asked if I was messing with her and I replied I was. I genuinely have no idea how to tell her :C

If you know you’ll be safe. I would just tell your mom. Something like “I would like to play around with dressing more masculine” or you could just flat out tell her that you’re questioning gender identity.
Also if you want help figuring out your gender, I would suggest identifying with nonbinary, because of how open it is it gives you space to explore without taking yourself out of one box straight into another.
