Is it a good idea coming out to my parents with a letter, my mom is kinda okay but my father is like super homophobic...if you have any suggestions I would i appreciate it 😶🌫️

it'd be better if you just come out to your mom... avoid coming out to your dad if it's gonna put you in a dangerous situation, maybe you can tell your mom to not tell him about your sexuality/identity 
or if you wanna tell him too and you know it won't be dangerous for you then... it's risky but you could come out to him too, it really depends on what the outcome could be and if MAYBE he changes his mind idk

First of all thank you for answering, secondly I think my mom starts to understand that I am part of this community but also my dad loves me aswell and I am not sure if our relationship will take the downfall or not.
In addition I was planning to tell my mom but I didn't because I got too nervous.

well, if you have a good relationship with your parents they might understand that at the end of the day you're their child and they must love you no matter what, sooner or later... it depends on how do you think things will end up and give them some time to understand you too
if your mom supports you there's a chance your dad might start supporting too at some point
