Need help coming out to my father

This has been weighing on me for a while but I want to come out to my father. He’s been mostly absent but i at least want to tell
him as we still talk occasionally. I somewhat recall him saying he’s cool with trans people a while ago but i don’t really remember to be honest. I’m scared he won’t accept it but at the same time, what have i to loose?

If you aren't exactly sure, try leaving subtle hints or signs that can make him suspect it without him confronting you and make those hints more obvious til its either he knows or you think you can tell him

by chance do you choose what you wear or anything?

I'd probably put accessories or anything thats colour coated

or talk to him when you can about that stuff such as a tans friend
