Ive been told multiple times that my friends shittalk me behind my back and they haven't invited me to anything in months and I feel so excluded, takes me back to being 12... and all this is happening cuz I declined their invites a couple of times last winter which is freaking stupid. they're the popular kids and I'm friends with most people from my grade through them and now that I've attempted to make new friends they tell me "you hangout with weirdos now" and stuff and that just sucks to hear. idk what to do and especially don't know how and where to make friends as I really want them to be irl and kinda honestly also want queer friends (as someone who is closeted) uhhhhm ywah

I should add that they are still my friends like one on one I'm good with everyone but likey they exclude me from everything and stuff and idek

having "fake friends" is so frustrating because you kinda know they don't like you but they never really outright say it and you're just left second guessing yourself..
i understand that you are good with them one on one, but you should really talk to the ones you trust the most or the ones that are most likely to tell you the truth. of course, i know people like this are hard to talk to, especially when they are being called out for some sht they did, but if they really are fake, you should stay friends with them (i honestly think "weirdos" are so much better friends than the popular kids that everyone loves)
having irl friends that understand and relate to you is relatively difficult and i can't really help with that, but i'm here to talk if you want to.
