hey! yes, i do really think it's tied to depression. it tends to dull your emotions and not let you feel what you think you are supposed to, most likely because you are mentally exhausted. what i can say is that you don't have to be full of emotion all the time because it will tire you out. also, don't try to pretend that you're happy, don't try to fake emotions, because it will exhaust you much faster. i would advise you to talk to someone that you trust about this, because it's not something to be overlooked or ignored. your feelings are important, even if that feeling is emptiness.
