So I've got a dilemma, I'll be at school (or just existing) and someone will be talking to me(or ill just say something out of no where) I'll be listening but then when I respond (or what I say) it's like I'm a spectator to my own life? It's like someone else said something but it came out of my mouth and it's been happening a lot and it's really trippy, it happens in arguments as well, normally I'll be calm but then ill say something, but it's like it wasn't me?? It's as if I'm just sat there watching someone else control my body but I can see and hear all of it happening in real time. It's both scary and concerning I don't know what's going on. If anyone could help or knows what's going on or has gone through the same, let me know please.

Do you know who that was that responded?
No..
Do you have other symptoms that might be related?
Do you ever notice your sense of self or basically identity shifting?
Guh
That sounds kinda like dissociative amnesia
You may wanna look into OSDD-1a, although I’m no expert
Dissociative amnesia is basically where you don’t remember something because you weren’t really there
And, at least from my experience, that basically makes you see memories as not there, black, or VERY fuzzy
OSDD-1a is when there’s present amnesia, and you basically having different states you may present at different times, with these states being semi-similar
Oh
Does that sound relatable, at all?
Else, it may also be heavy dissociation, which itself is usually more a phase rather than something permanent
You do probably wanna consider looking up terms related to dissociation
It sounds relatable..
How black are your memories?
Are they fully gone, no matter how you concentrate on it, or barely reachable?
I can't remember them
How different are your states? Are they more just versions of you, or full-on different people?
I don't know..
You might wanna start noting things down then
Of course, I’m no expert, but I do have experience with DID and OSDD-1b
Ok
We feel like this often as well
A good idea is to try writing notes to yourself and such
It helps you to remember things if you can
Notes as in what's happening or notes for who/what/whenever is reading them
Both
Got it
But yea we have this a lot as well
It’s like we take a step back and someone else says things
So we’ve found writing it out an talking to people, asking if you seem different and talking to a therapist helps so yea
Yes to everything but the therapist
It is your choice but it helps
We used to be very against it as well
Just consider it for a while at least
We can understand that yea
Take it slow and have a great time
Hopefully we helped :D
Is there like free online therapy or something
I'll do that, just not face to face
Something's definitely up
I can't remember much from when I'm starting to get angry or defensive other then the feeling
From those you do remember, how does it feel like?
Like, does it feel weird and far away or anything else?
It's hard to describe..
So many words and letters
Hard to read on the did research page thingy
Okay so I strained my eyes to read that
So much for 20/20 vison
I saw in the osdd1a that it includes something about time loss, loss of memory and angry self
