ok so...
im bisexual. i think. deffo at least part lesbian. and i've got a long way to go until i start dating and all that. but i worry every now and then.
because my parents are pretty homophobic. when i was 8 and saw the episode of golden girls where blanche's little brother came out as gay, i asked my dad what gay meant and he literally called them crazy
and after my sister made a joke about being gay my mom legit pulled the car over and all and was super serious like "you can't be gay" 😭

so anyways. knowing all of this, im super worried cuz even if i have a long way to go, im worried about a day where i might find a girlfriend or something. and i dont think i would want to hide it. but i also don't want to get disowned. what would i do? im really confused right now.

I’m in a similar situation, my advice would just to be not worry about it. You said that you’re a long way from dating, so just try to keep your head down. I know it might be hard, it feels like everyone else is talking about their celebrity crushes, just try to stay out of that until you are ready and you are safe to come out. If your parents aren’t that strict, I found that to be a lot easier if you have queer friends you can talk to without parents hovering. (Joining pridecord was a great first step!) just take a minute and breath, you don’t have to worry about your future right now.
