My parents aren’t exactly homophobic, but they basically aren’t letting me come out. They’re like “Oh, are you SUREE??? I think you should be older!!” like bro what does that mean💔
My parents call bs on the they/them thingy in spanish because they’re not actual words in a dictionary yet and they complain everytime a teacher uses them. And for the rest of my family, they are heavily religious so I’m not sure how they would react when I tell them that I’m lesbian, aroace, and genderfluid.
I used to identify as Pansexual(bc I thought love should be regardless of gender) but my parents straight up thought the fact that is was panSEXUAL meant that I was sexually attracted. Anyways I haven’t talked about my sexuality with them since.
They have asked me every single time I complain about guys in my school they like “ooh do you like him?” like no, I like women.

#what do I even do in this situation

Parents are always like that, eventually they'll either do actual research and learn that you are DEFINITELY old enough to be sure, or you'll become old enough to where they know you CAN'T be unsure anymore (probably the latter)
Doesn't aroace means not attracted to love romantically AND sexually ??
If it does, then why putting "lesbian, aroace, [...]" ??
Im not trying to be mean im just a poop in english
so im kinda trying to understand things
I think they meant oriented or angled aroace
