So I wanna join the military when I hit 18 (16 now) and I donr meet height and weight requirement and some other crap that could keep me from getting in. Anyhow om hoping a health nut will tell me what I gotta do to drop pounds and build muscle cause idk where to start

So are you under the weight or over tho? If over you want to start eating better a little less it helps to track the calories you eat per day it makes it so much easier but ye youre gonna wanna eat less not to much less tho or your body can start freaking out and make it worse so youre gonna wanna slowly start eating less and less while youre doing consistent exercise if under then still tracking calories is good but youre gonna wanna bulk theres 2 main types of bulking a dirty bulk which is eating a lot of food but a lot of it may be processed or just really unhealthy so really just eating a lot but requires a lot of exercise to use it as growth and not just becoming fat also can also have increased health risks so id recommend just a normal bulk good bulking strategy involves consuming a consistent calorie surplus of 300-500 calories above average per day prioritizing highprotein food and exercising a lot but also for it to work as muscle youre gonna need around 7 8 or 9 hours of sleep consistently so it can grow
