im in kinda the same situation, and im waiting until i can support myself before telling my parents. so yeh, its best to wait

safety is the most important thing, i would wait until i'm moved out and able to support myself or get help from friends for essentials (food, water, shelter, etc...)

it feels like everyone but me has an expansive support system ready to love and support them
