Ive been struggling with this for about a month now. I have one jewish friend, one atheist, one buddhist, and the rest are christain in my friend group of 6. I have come out as pan to my atheist friend (he is bisexual so that helped a lot) i personally am atheist, but i really don’t know how my christian friends will react. I have heard all 3 of them actively hate on gay / trans people, and i’m really scared that i will lose them. They are some of the best people that i know, but im not sure if they will accept me.
#How to come out to my Christian friends?

Ask them about some topic related to LGTB, things like „I know someone that‘s (some sexuality other than gay/lesbian and straight), and honestly, they are really chill“
(Not gay because that has, for some reason, really bad reputation)
I know its stupid why do gay people get targeted
I mean, the explanation I have is that gay people are stereotypically freaky, WHICH BTW THEY ARENT, and yeah, maybe that has some relation
Yeah, i hate that thats the stereotype though
I’ll try this, thank you
Aight ima give my personal opinion I would ask their opinions on a very similar group then see what they think about it
If its negative just don't do it
If its positive tell them
so what i did, and this may sound somehwat stupid, i made up an imaginary ffriend and asked my christian friends on how i should react if they came out to me. It actually worked, my one friend was very supportive abt it, and my other friend said they just need to get used to it, but the “fake friend” scenario, really helped me
This is quite tricky, beacuse Christian people, are like extremely close to God, which is The Father and Creator of earth, anything and everything he says goes, im trying not to make it sound bad but, what u can do is keep it on the loww, if you really really love that friend.
