I’ve been in homeschool for a couple years now, so making friends has been really tough. My parents decided I should have a proper high school experience, so they enrolled me in a private christian school. I have nothing wrong with christians but its a very strict school and I’m very queer😅
For example, they split up boys and girls for most things and I’m afab but I really don’t feel comfortable being in a girls locker room.
Making friends who accept me is gonna be VERY tricky now, so I’m hoping there will maybe be other closeted kids there but probably not. It’s all preppy rich cishet white kids😭😭😭 If you have advice please please let me know. I’m kinda scared

First off, breathe, it'll be a slow process finding the right people, as someone who experienced something alike, some people are just not worth your time, so don't be afraid of backing off if you feel it just won't last
Second, gender-splitting is unfortunately something they tend to do a lot in those kinds of places and they're not exactly welcoming to queerness, but it's ok, nobody will know, they don't need to know, it's not something they can so easily see, you'll be fine
