how do i come out to my parents as trans?

i have been trying to build up the courage to tell them for a while, but idk how or where is the right time or place to tell them.

Then as a first step I would suggest trying to go slow, test the waters to see if they support the community before you come out, just in case

my friends are all out to their parents so i’ll ask if they’re ok with me having lgbtq friends

That's a great way to test the waters, to see if they would support the community before coming out just in case they dont support it

I know it seems sad but what I did as coming out as gay to my mum I told her over message and just was honest saying how scared you are to say and see how it goes

i had the same, and what i did was sending it in a message just before a period i couldn't look on my phone, so that in the meantime, i could think of responses for the different reactions the could give, so maybe you could do something like this

A suggestion is to write a note about it and then when you are out tell your parents where the note is and to read it
