i've been non-binary for about 4 years now, and ive been wearing makeup and clothing that makes me look more gender ambiguous, and recently, i've been getting so much god damn hate from people around me. especially from the people at my church (i dont go there willingly) cause i forgot to wash it off before going. my dad doesnt say anything about it but obviously doesnt support me, hes been quietly showing off anti-lgbtq content (i say quietly, he now watches this shit at full goddamn volume when i'm around) and making quiet remarks about my appearance. plus, at school now, fucking EVERYONE I MAKE THE SLIGHTEST MENTION OF IT TO FUCKING HATES MY GUTS. it's actually disgusting how much people hate other people for the sake of hating people. some old dude the other day fuckin yelled the f slur at me from his car when i was riding my bike to my house (yes, i was riding my bike properly, i can confirm it wasnt road rage, we were in a residential area). not to mention all the shit i have to hear from the kids at school just making fun of lgbtq people or throwing "gay" and "trans" around like they're insults. there's also recently been signs up from churches sayin shit like "no man shall lay with another man!"

...i hate this place!! they want us to never show our faces!!! i cant live like this!!!!

I know, it's ass
Chruch especially is riddled with anti-lgbtq shit, those people are just miserable
Takes a lot of effort to even be open about it in the first place, don't it?

yeah, something like that is annoying. I also try to look neutral incase my gender changes, and I also kinda get hated for that :/

Hey, you still have more courage than I’ll ever have to be able to go out and be who you are, even despite the hate. Idk how old you are but eventually you can just pack up and leave. Folks like you ARENT hated everywhere, there truly is a place for everyone. I truly hope you find it some day ❤️

im moving to minnesota, ive heard theyre a lot better in those ways (plus i want to go to college there, they have good animation schools), and its generally a nice place
