So some of you may know that I'm bisexual. I came out a few days before my birthday. I first told my cousin and she was very supportive and happy that I'm trying to figure out who I am. Then I told my friend who is 2 years older than me and she was also very supportive but I've been meaning to tell her brother who is also a really good friend of mine and I don't know how to, plus I haven't told my parents, my other cousins and extended family yet. I really need to figure out how to tell them because I'm getting sick and tired of hiding it from them. Does anyone have any ideas on how I should tell them?

i've kinda been slipping it in casually during a conversation or just telling people if they ask. that's worked best for me because it takes the pressure off somewhat. maybe that could work for you?

If you think/know that your parents are against LGBTQIA+ bc of religion or beliefs, then maybe try to ease into it. Bring it up casually and try to make them think of other perspectives, but don't force it onto them. If they're pretty chill, but you don't know if they'll be against it, maybe try bringing up friends you have who are (outed already) part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Good luck!! ^^
