So I'm experiencing some hard-core dysphoria rn, and I wanna get a binder. Problems though:

  1. I'm poor and have no money to my name (and I'm a college student without a job rn)
  2. The old binders I owned I gave away (and my mom had bought them off Amazon so they weren't good for me anyways)
  3. Despite my mom being supportive and would probably understand if I explained everything to her (She's taken me to pride before in a nearby city! I know she's supportive) she tends to go cheapest routes sometimes and that means Amazon instead of actual LGBT brands like GC2B.

I was gonna use Point of Pride because they have a free binders program, but people have reported that sometimes it can take months to even years to get a binder since it's a free project.

Idk what to do, and I'm trying to figure out what to say to my mom when she gets home from her trip tonight..

Any and all LGBT centers I could go to are over an hour away (Most being over 4 hours driving) and I'm only allowed to drive my car around my town and to and from school, so I can't go on my own (and I'm a full time student rn)

if you have absolutely no way to buy a binder, you could ask a friend for a bit of money, or, if worst comes to worst, use the Point of Pride free binders
