I'm afraid senior years of high school (VCE in VIC Australia) is going to suck. Imo most people in Y7 seem like the sorta idiots to leave at Y10 loud and proud but then they don't have a proper job. I plan on doing a few sciences, performing arts and music but practically no one in Y7 currently look like they wanna do that stuff. I'll be so lonely. I also lost multiple friends this year which contributes to this lonliness.

sorry for late response lol!. Im rly sorry this is happening to you, and that you have to choose between comfort, and the career that you want. i suggest that you go for the career, and try to be more social. maybe go to the lil back to school stuff at the beggining of the year, get to know people. try to find your 'group'. In the long run you will much rather having a career you want than straying away from that for 1 year of comfort. plus, after high school ends you will go off to college and meet new people anyway. i hope you feel brave enough to do this, and also im very sory about the friends you lost, but good luck in life lol :p
