Hi. So far I played tennis for like 7 years and at this point, I'm tired of the sport. My parents keep ruining it for me like adding more tennis and putting high expectations on me. I mean yeah sure I say okay like it's no big deal, but really deep inside I don't want too. Whenever I say that I don't want to go they always say "oh why?" And they get mad at me. Yes, my parents are Asian, but mostly it's from my mom. Also I had some previous sports I quitted and they WERE NOT HAPPY. So that's why I'm afraid to tell them I want to quit. I'm afraid that I'm gonna waste those 7 years for nothing. And be a burden to the family.

Maybe try to achieve something big in tennis to impress them and then tell them you are quitting
Okay tyy
I would recommend you do the opposite actually. People don't see things as your best moment. They will see it as proof you need to keep going until you can consistently do that level of skill. Be harsh. Be willing to scream if they say you can't. Don't let them control you.

Oh okay ill try next time ty
Well what don't you like about tennis? Is the pressure from your parents overshadowing your enjoyment of the sport, or did you just not like it at all?
More like the pressure
It’s completely understandable to be tired of playing a sport, especially after so many years. From in my experience i did cross country for about 5-6 years and quit last year. There wasn’t any specific reason why, I think I just got tired, and I didn’t really feel welcomed from the other players. In your case, you could be getting burnt out?
Probably
Do your parents pay money for you to play tennis? Or is it more of a after school club.?
They kinda do pay money... and I feel bad that they are spending on a sport I don't enjoy playing anymore but at the same time they will be mad at me for not playing
