So my friends... I love them so so much but theyre kinda bad at using pronouns and names and stuff, I wanna tell them but I don't know if I should since, you know, they kinda suck at that kind of stuff, and off topic, i think i should because my (school) father supported it(okay me and my friend group are weird, we have this school family thing and apparently i was adopted into it) but anyway, back on track, how should I address it??
#So... how do I say im trans to my straight and not very ally friends??

Hey, I totally get where you're coming from. It’s really hard to bring it up, especially when you love your friends and don’t want to make things awkward. But at the same time, your name and pronouns are a part of you, and you deserve to be respected for who you are. It’s awesome that your school family supports you—that’s a big deal, and it sounds like your friends care about you too. Maybe you could just casually say something like, 'Hey, I know you’ve been using [wrong pronouns/name], and I just wanted to remind you about mine. It really means a lot to me when you get it right.' I’m sure they’ll want to get it right, especially if you approach it gently. You got this! 💛
