you just need to wait for the right timing, if the topic of gender, sexualities, or LGBTQIA+ in general, that's the perfect time to come out! if you start to get impatient waiting for the timing, start giving subtle hints, when you go out to shop for clothes choose some of the pieces of clothing that match your identity more, maybe even try pointing at something in the section that is opposite your assigned gender at birth and saying something along the lines of "that looks really good." if your mom isn't taking the hints, then you have three options: give up and don't tell them, keep giving hints and/or continue to wait for the right timing, or just outright tell her before a conversation is started.
Tl;DR: wait for the right time, give subtle hints, give up (as a last resort), or just outright tell them.
