im a trans girl (mtf) and i need help if i should come out or not. I made a post before but ive gotten a bit more information about my family’s stance on trans people, tho my extended family im not too sure. My dad is transphobic, he had made a joke about trans people being weird and i really felt very uncomfortable. My mom on the other hand is most likely an ally? ive never heard her say anything about trans people. but idk if she is or not i still have anxiety that i might be accidentally outed without my knowledge. im just trying not to think too hard rn.

If you are not sure if they are safe to come out to then you might hold it off until you have the safety net in case they react poorly.
