So basically I don't like my name. My name doesn't sit right with me, it doesn't feel like me. I want a new name. (I dont really know if this counts as coming out, but if it doesn't, I'll move it) I want my new name to be Kats, but i feel like my mom won't respect that. She is homophobic, and the last time id try coming out to her as les, I was brutally rejected, she just flat out said, "No, you're not." And now, my name is another obstacle i cant seem to shake off. Do i tell her, or do i feel uncomfortable for the rest of my life? Seems like an easy question, but think about it.
#Okay, then.

You prob should her so she can make the decision to respect you or not. Gotta be honest my hopes arent too high for you in this situation but ppl can surprise you (my parent didnt except me/avoided the topic for a year before she started using the right stuff)
