The worst part is, a lot of my friends are going to the same college, so I feel really left behind

watching the person who means the most to you leave while you’re stuck in the same place, that’s painful. It makes your chest heavy and your mind spiral and honestly yeah, life can be really cruel like that sometimes it doesn’t always give us what we deserve, and it doesn’t always wait for us to catch up but please, don’t take this moment as proof that you’ve failed or you're falling, you havent, you just happen to be in the rougher season, and it hurts more because you care so damn much, life is a rollercoaster of emotions, sometimes it stays in those dark times for longer than we’d like but those lows are also what make the highs feel so beautiful when they come and they do come even if right now that feels impossible. Thats the beauty of life, its always moving, its never a constant line
