Okay so... I "came out" to my mother as a trans girl (To be completely honest, I didn't get to come out on my terms which sucked but I just have to make do I guess...) and essencially she says she supports me but also persistently deadnames me amd calls me "her son"... Basically hitting me with the "I gave birth to a son." etc. She says it's hard for her to understand even though I've explained my transness as best as I could to her. I'm kinda just at a loss at this rate, I was going to vent a bot to but I decided against it.

Well, I usually try to just dissociate my way through it but it both hurts and gets under my skin

I think that if your mom needs help understanding, you can explain how its like catapillar to butterfly something like that.
If she's doing this stuff on purpose buy yourself an airhorn *(or loud re-usable item), and explain to her that anytime she does that you will honk it. if that doent work or you cant do those things correct her. EVERY TIME. She either keeps forgetting and needs hep to rmember, or will eventually stop deadnaming you because its a hassle to her.
