I’m not gonna like be rude. But my parents used to joke about the lgbtq community rudely and everything. So I quite literally never told them. I understand you want them to accept you and who you are, but if their homophobic and your in a vulnerable position, i reallly wouldnt
safety first, self actualization second.
You don't need to tell your parents. I didn't told them for like 1 year.
you can bring it up like you heard about it in the news or such and see how they react
you can decide to come out when you move out
you can decide to not tell them at all (which would become difficult when you start transitioning unless you never met them again)
what matters most is that you´re safe.
what matters the second most is that you can be yourself
