I recently began identification as non-binary but haven’t told anyone and I’m really unsure about how to tell my friends and family.

Hey , if you need help try talking with your closest friends first and are your parents strict then don’t tell ‘em yet

I'm in the same situation, you're not alone. How I'm doing it is my friends all know , use they/them pronouns for me and use my chosen name. Some of their parents also use it. If u really want to tell your parents I would say to make sure they know that you're the same person and before you came out. You shouldn't have to comfort your parents and they should accept you for you and if you don't think it's safe for you to come out then please don't

Also if you're coming out to friends, come out to one at first , one that'll support you and then have them support you and be there if you're talking to another friend, that's how I came out to my old friend group. Take small steps
