Nobody in human history has ever done something that didn't serve themselves. Even in these vents everyones like "its okay your fine blah blah blah dont cut yourself" but they only do it to seem nice. Especially those fucking "mY dm'S aRE OPeN" people. so no, im not going to stop cutting myself because I deserve and so does everyone else.

I have two points and pardon me if I misunderstood or I just don’t make sense but

1. Even if everyone does everything for themselves, what’s the harm in doing it if it doesn’t actually negatively impact someone? Even if someone tries to comfort someone for their own public image or just to feel better about themselves, it’s still comfort and up to the recipient if the comfort helped or not. Things don’t just have to be for only one purpose or another.
2. If everyone deserves to cut, why don’t they? What differentiates you from those who don’t cut?

Let me be honest, it would be hypocritical to try to change your mind because 1, you're completely right and 2, I cut as well. But that in no way means I want you to cut or want you to feel pain
