Hi everyone!
I’m genderfluid and new here. I’m looking for some support and advice about coming out to my parents. I’m a bit nervous because I’m worried they might not take me seriously or think it’s just a phase. Do you think it’s better if I go outside first and then text my mum that? I’m not sure what feels right…
Would really appreciate any tips!

I usually would wait a while but express yourself in other places first so you can build confidence to come out to your parents. That is what I’m doing.

Thank you, that makes a lot of sense. I’m trying to do that too, like being in this server already helps a bit with confidence.

Yeah getting that feeling of coming out and wanting something new is sudden. Just 2 weeks ago I was a straight male

For me it has kinda been there for years, I just didn’t really do anything about it until now lol.
