Hey guys! I'm 12–16 years old and going into high school. But not the case. My mom knows about me being pan but not being non-bianary...I'm already dead named but there's not much I can do about that. My parents are VERY Christian, which I have no problem with but I'm not personally apart of that. I plan on coming out sometime soon but I don't know how. Help please????
#How to come out to my Christian transphobic parents???

Hey, I'm kind of in the same boat. My dad is extremely christian, while my mom is more atheist. My mom thinks that I am Bi but really I am gay.
My best advice for you is to try figuring out their opinion on trans/non-binary folk. Maybe, by mentioning an issue or political action towards or from the trans community. My dad is very political so I found out fast he despises transgender people. If you're too scared to mention anything or their reply is too vague.
Honestly, just don't tell them. Remember, you don't ever have to tell them. I understand it is annoying and/or hurtful to be dead named and misgendered. But, it's much better to be safe and secure. It's much safer to come out when you are able to take care of yourself.
Okay tyyyy
