I've found out I identify as agender for half a year now and I don't know how to explain this in a world that rigidly thinks of gender as a binary and/or a spectrum. I mean, agender is a lack of attachment/identification towards any gender, right? I know agenders don't need to transition but I just don't like being called a man, the word even feels icky to say, but that's the social norm, so what am I meant to say?

You're just a person! (or kid/adult, though I prefer just "person"). You don't have to be a man or woman to be valid. I'm transmasc and even I don't like being called a man, I always kinda just refer to myself as some guy lol.
