Alright so I'ma need a lot of context here
I live in a transphobic, homophobic, conservative area. Although the majority of my friends are either lgbtqia+ themselves or are supporters of it.
I'd love to start coming out sooner rather than later, but I don't know if I can safely without letting anyone else know like teachers or homophobic students. (Idk if this is a law or not but I think I heard something once of a law that required teachers have to report students going by a diff name than their birth name to the parents)
I'm really struggling thinking of what to do here.

Well, we'll start off by saying that we started in the same situation. The way we did it was in steps. first we told our friends, then we told our parents when we were ready. that part is ALWAYS scary, but you got this! and socially, at first we were terrified to go out in fem clothes, but after a while we stopped caring about what others thought. There will be assholes, but thats just kinda the world we live in unfortunately.
