(M: 15) I have no idea how to come out to my parents, or if I even want to. Their nice caring people but I have no idea there oponions nor thoughts on gay people. And it's not just my parents it's my friends too, ik most of them wouldn't care but a few of my closer friends would... And I don't want to lose them we've been close for years... I don't even know how or if I should come out.

In regards to finding out their opinion, just mention fake or other people who came out as like an update ex: “oh ____ at school came out as gay” and see how they react. Based on that, see if it’s safe for you to come out and decide if you want to. While I know it’ll be hard, if your close friends wouldn’t accept you as you are, reconsider if you want them being your friend. You don’t owe them your silence, your presence or a facade to make them feel comfortable. If you still want to be their friend, you can quietly come out to a select people you want to know to lift the weight of your chest and fully if you get a boyfriend or smth
