So my family is religious (Cristian) and ive been told many times that same sex anything that involves relation is bad, ive been agreeing with that, but internally im gay af and idk when what or how to tell my family or even if to tell my family, once i was on a trip with my family and i overheard a conversation in the car with my dad saying "im homophobic" and i just dies inside, i just froze. and now im terrified to tell them. especialy when my family is all in the the world is gonna end drama with israel and iran. so, should i tell them?

You don't owe them that information, so unless you're 100% sure you're safe and can make a clean landing if they decide to cut ties, it might be better not to especially since there are signs they will be rude at a minimum
