I have a best friend i really like but i can't seem to tell him, I tried telking to him about it and i can't cuz he's just.... idk, good? is there anyway I can tell him without being weird about it?

I had this same exact situation, what I did was to be relaxed about it, and be honest.
I sent them this message:
“Hey, so I don’t really know how to put this — correctly at least. I have grown fond of you — to say that I like you would be correct. I don’t want this to affect our friendship as it’s really good being friends with you, I just think I should be honest the way I feel.”
Just be relaxed and be yourself
