im pretty sure not knowing if what u feel is platonic or not doesnt have anything to do with your sexuality, you could just wait and see if u get stronger feelings towards this person
at some point it will be easier to categorize wether u like them as a friend or more
for example u usually wouldnt get butterflies around someone who is just a friend
having the desire to be closer to them can be platonic such as romantic
