#Should I Come out to my sister??

Okay so I'm S and I've known I was a lesbian since 2024 though in some way I was always gay in a way. So I live in India and because of that my plan to come out was in college or later than that but a few days ago I was talking to my sister and her friend who is bi and we were talking about queer rights and stuff and I just like joked that everyone in my class thinks I'm gay. Her friend assumed that I was a lesbian but I clarified I wasn't (I'm still closeted) and to that my sister said that if I was then she knew all along .

My sister isn't Homophobic and does have many queer friends but I still don't want to tell anyone just because my parents and family in general are really homophobic plus I don't trust that she would keep the 'secret' with her. So should I tell her or I should tell her later in the future???

I think you should tell her later in the future because if one day she gets mad at you she could tell your parents or if smth happens but if you want to tell her now you could. I hope I could help

Wait, and if you ever tell your parents tell your sister after. I would help you more, but I’m kind of in the same situation rn and I have no other ideas 😞
