So, I’ve come out as a trans masc to my mother, using he/it pronouns... And she says she tries to use my new names and pronouns... But she hasn't and I really want to ask her to try harder but idk how. I'm really bad at confrontation. Keep in mind, I've been out to her for about 9 months, so I feel like she should have gotten at least a bit better by now but I feel selfish for even feeling like this.. Help

You aren’t selfish for wanting people to use other pronouns. Maybe try to make it clear every time she misgenders you that you are not comfortable with it. Same with using the wrong name
