I recently came out to my grandparents (my main guardians due to family complications)
That I was aroace and they didn't understand, so I explained and they said it was just a phase. I find it annoying that even when I explained, my grandpa still didn't understand. My grandma kind of undertanded and supported me, even though not fully understanding. I love them very much and still live with them, but I want to make sure they understand. I haven't come out to my dad yet and I'm worried that he may not accept me as he doesn't really care about me and even when he does pay attention to me he always starts yelling at me.

Hi.
I'm aroace too and I understand the whole "It's a phase" thing that straight parents push out a lot. A lot of society always expects everyone to be straight and have a happy family blah blach and it really sucks.
I'm not the best at giving advice, but if I were you I would probably tell people I think would be more supportive before telling your father
I think it's very calming when you talk to people in similar situations or people you know will be ok with it before going to people who might take it worse
I hope it goes well 🩷
Ok thx
