I’m a gay male but I’m also from a VERY Christian family and they believe that 15 is to young to make these kind of decisions… so I’m waiting until I’m like 20 or smth

I get you dude. I'm gay and also from a very Christian family. You don't have to wait till your older to decide wether you are gay especially your family it's basically your decision but I know it's hard I've been through your shoes, I'm a Lesbian genderfluid female I knew right from the start that I liked girls. Anyways enough about me if you need to talk I'm here 🙂

Liking a specific gender or a specific behaviour, a physical trait... etc; these are not "decisions". These are not things we decide upon, it is not deliberate. I do not decide on liking men who are taller than me as another man, I do not decide that I like a heartwarming smile and I certainly do not decide who my heart picks as our next crush. None of us do.

However, you are very observant and correct in putting off your "coming out", if you ever do so at all. Your safety is paramount, and if your parents are prone to "disagree with the LGBTQ+", then it is a better idea for you to come out only once you are separated from them.
