Hii! Is it normal if my binder makes my skin itch so bad that it peels… I feel like probably not but what could be the cause?

a binder shouldnt be making you itch period end of story, but especially not making the skin peel. did you buy this binder second-hand/used? and if not, did you wash it thoroughly/according to the instructions before wearing it?

I think it’s brand new because I got it from g2b3 or whatever. And there were instructions saying you needed to wash before use

ok then its probably not a fungal infection if you washed it before. does it only itch immediately after wearing it or does it continue itching even hours later?

also see if like an antihistamine cream like topical benadryl works bc it could also potentially be an allergy to smth

ok reddit recommends cornstarch or gold bond on the binder to help with friction + potentially sweat absorption it looks like. some people also recommended wearing a thin cotton shirt under it if you want to try that?
