First off, it's a tough situation, and a very sensitive topic. If you feel like you're ready to come out, do so! It's worth noting that there is no forced way you have to come out. Some people like to do in person talks, some people opt for text messages/letters. The conversation can be as direct or as indirect as you wish, as long as short as you want, whatever it may be. Do what you're most comfortable with! Again, nobody is forcing you to come out, so if you feel like it isn't time yet, don't do it. on paper coming out is a very easy thing but it's very difficult when you get to do it, so you're not alone by any means. I was at that position too.
