Periods

Just to clarify, this post is not negative towards them of any sort, just need some help about it.
My partner has just started their period, I don’t experience them myself as I’m cis male, does anyone know how I can help out as I’m not sure (this is the first time it’s happened in our relationship)

Offer them comfort and give them advice
lots of water, heating pad, maybe advil to help with cramps!
If you are with them see how they are feeling *sometimes during period we don't like to be touched or love to be touched or completely depends if aro/Ace ^^ but give them lots of comfort since cramps do hurt
They will most likely have mood swings, it's common, they're just in pain and hopefully doesn't mean anything personal!! I hope this helps!
