Got my first binder, managed to get into it after a very entertaining 10 or so minutes of looney toons-esque shenanigans. It feels like it fits fairly well, in that I don't notice any breathing difficulties while wearing it, although there is a notable difference when I take it off if I've been wearing it for a few hours (and, well, taking it off is a whole other Mission haha.)
In any case, I've been experiencing a problem in which the bottom of it rolls up, which is annoying and puts extra, unnecessary pressure on my ribs. Manufacturer said that it's a known problem with this batch of binders (something about the material of this particular batch being subpar) and gave me several options. I elected to keep this binder and get a discount on a binder made of better material when they are available.
Anyway the whole point of this was to ask for suggestions on how to stop this one from rolling up. The binder is too short to tuck into my pants, as it only comes down to around my naval. I was considering whether i should sew on extra material on the bottom, lengthening it to rest below where my belt would be and perhaps adding elastic to the bottom to help it stay in place even without a belt.
Also would not be opposed to tips on getting it on and off - keep in mind that I am neither a small nor flexible person.

@little charm im not great woth binder but you could put extra weight on it? or sew the part that rolls up upwards so it doesnt move?
With putting it on and off, it's a thing with new binders and will get better after using it for a while. Wait till you're dry, not wet when putting it on and take it off by crossing your arms and pulling it from your back over the head.
Tyyy
Weight might work but not sure how i would add enough weight to it to stop it rolling. Dont know if perhaps i ought to try completely getting rid of the lower hem and replacing it with an elasticised edge or something
Idk I wouldn't like if my binder had an elastic stripe. I hate when bras have them—like you can always feel it. But I don't know what kind of a binder you have, if it perhaps already isn't elastic.
It definitely isnt elastic
Then I would just shorten it somehow or use a normal hem, it's better when it stands away from the body, because it makes your waist look fatter and not like this⏳
Oh true! I hadnt thought of that
